The community turned out with questions about improvements, status of projects and shared personal updates on their businesses with city officials at the November 16 Coffee with the Mayor and City Manager event. Business owners in the Mill Town Marketplace came out to show support for The Coffee Mill.

"We had small business owners come out in full force educating and updating us on how they are doing in their specialized fields," said Garrett.

Mayor Ed Grimes, City Manager Greg Garrett Police Chief Kent Kroeger, Corey Costelloe and Key Budge made themselves available to meet with the public.

"What a turnout we had today, this venue gives people a chance to talk to us in a relaxed setting without any pressure," said Garrett.

Join city officials on the third Thursday each month at The Coffee Mill for a cup of coffee and a chance to have a chat about what is important to you. The next event will be December 21 from 7:30-9:30am.
